A resident of Chingola on the Copperbelt province of Zambia has died at the Oliver Reginald Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg South Africa.
The man identified as Frank John Price, 76yrs old, died of suspected cardiac arrest at Oliver Reginald Tambo International (ORTI) Airport in transit from Australia to Zambia.
Zambia’s High Commissioner to South Africa, His Excellency Mr. Emmanuel Mwamba confirmed the sad development.
According to the Zambian government records, the deceased was an Australian national holding a permanent resident permit for Zambia and was an established resident of Chingola.
The late Mr Price was traveling with his spouse, a Zambian national Evelyn Kasonde Mubanga.
The Couple had gone for holiday to his home country.
The body is being held at a funeral parlour in Johannesburg and will be repatriated to Zambia when due formalities are completed.
