MINISTER KALABA HOLDS SERIES OF HIGH-LEVEL TALKS WITH GLOBAL LEADERS
PRETORIA – 12th June, 2015 ZAMBIA’S Foreign Affairs Minister, Mr. Harry Kalaba, held a series of bilateral meetings with his counterparts from various countries including Ethiopia with whom a memorandum of understanding was signed for the establishment of a joint permanent commission. This was on the sidelines of the 25th African Union Summit which ran from 7 – 15th June, 2015 in Johannesburg.
Among those Mr. Kalaba met were Special Envoy of the Chinese Government and Vice Foreign Minister, Zhang Ming; Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Mr Ivica Dacic; Foreign Minister of Ethiopia, Dr. Tedros Adhanom.
The MOU signed by Zambia and Ethiopia on 12th June, 2015, is aimed at establishing a Joint Permanent Commission to enhance bilateral links and expand cultural, economic and social ties between the two countries.
