NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER FOR ALL ZAMBIANS IN SOUTH AFRICA – 18TH OCTOBER, 2015

The Zambian High Commission in Pretoria will hold a prayer service for Zambians based in South Africa following His Excellency Mr. Edgar Chagwa Lungu’s proclamation of 18th October, 2015 as a day of national prayer, and fasting for reconciliation, forgiveness and generally to encourage the nation to seek the face of God.

President Lungu’s proclamation is centered on 2 Chronicles 7:14 which says: If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

The prayer service will be held at the Zambian Chancery, 570, Ziervogel Street (Off Hamilton Street), Arcadia in Pretoria on Sunday, 18th October, 2015 from 16:00 to 17:30 hours.

Transport arrangements will be made to pick up those coming from Johannesburg and those from within Pretoria.
