UGANDA’S ENVOY TO SA WINS ZAMBIA’S GOLDEN JUBILEE RAFFLE PRIZE

Pretoria – 3rd December, 2014 – Uganda’s High Commissioner to South Africa, His Excellency Mr. Julius Peter Moto, won two return air tickets to Lusaka from a raffle conducted during this year’s celebrations to mark Zambia’s Golden Jubilee of Independence held at the Zambia High Commission in Pretoria. The second winner was founder of, community-based organization, Taungana Africa, Ms. Sandra Tererai. The tickets, made available by Air Namibia and Air Link, also come with fully sponsored accommodation in Lusaka, courtesy of Protea Hotel.

Soon after being presented with the tickets by First Secretary in charge of tourism at the Zambia High Commission, Mrs. Patricia Muyamwa His Excellency Mr. Moto remarked that he was “extremely excited when he heard the news of the prize.” The High Commissioner hoped he would be able to meet Zambia’s first President Dr. Kenneth Kaunda, whom he said was the only one still alive among Africa’s forefathers.
