PRETORIA – 21ST APRIL, 2017 – ZAMBIA has scooped the ‘Best Stand for Doing Business’ award at the 2017 World Travel Market Africa in Cape Town, South Africa.
The award was presented yesterday by event organisers, World Travel Market Africa to leader of the Zambian delegation, Mr. Mwabashike Nkulukusa, who is Zambia Tourism Agency (ZTA) Marketing Director.
Others in the delegation were First Secretary in charge of tourism at the Zambian High Commission in Pretoria, Mrs. Patricia Muyamwa, Ms. Jane Zindonga from the Livingstone ZTA office and Mr. Muzhinga Munengu from ZTA head office in Lusaka.
The presentation was made at this year’s event which runs from 19 – 21st April at Cape Town Convention Centre.
The stand comprises 14 companies drawn from different parts of Zambia and taking part under the ZTA umbrella.
World Travel Market Africa is one of the leading travel and tourism trade shows in Africa taking place annually in Cape Town.
Stakeholders in the South African tourism industry are invited to meet travel operators from around the world in order to create business relationships, launch products, enter new markets, promote brands, conduct market research, showcase destinations and interact with media professionals.
Around 5000 travel and tourism professionals, alongside 550 exhibitors, have attend this year’s leading global business-to-business expo that has been showcasing the inbound and outbound travel markets from over 45 countries.
Participants are guaranteed access to unique business opportunities and top quality contacts from around the world.
The Zambian companies that are participating in the exposition are All Seasons Travel & Tours, Kayube Estates/Wild Side Tours, Konkamoyo Lodge, Legacy Destination Zambia, Luciano Tours & Travel – Zambia, Mawimbi Bush Camp/Sikiliza and Mulungushi International Conference Centre.
